Materials: silk gauze

[One of my personal faves.] Made from silk gauze, this chiffon bowtie features handsewn texture with red fibers. Dimensions are 2 1/4" x 4 1/2" with an adjustable neck length. Handmade in Title of Work's NYC atelier by a single artisan. TOW's bowties are constructed for the 'purist'; this means that they are hand tied rather than 'tacked' and ships pre-tied. 

This limited edition piece is part of a series inspired by mars. The collection examines the 'Red Planet' through a textual journey, depicting its vivid and contrasting topography.
